Yedein World

١ .Dinah Morsy, founder of Yedein.

After three and a half years spent in luxury interior design firms, such as Laura Gonzalez, I decided to embark on a more personal adventure: creating an artisanal brand inspired by my cultural heritage.

Yedein was born from my desire to rediscover myself through one of my home countries, Egypt.

A spiritual quest driven by the search for know-how, traditions and history.

A journey through Egypt, but also to the heart of Middle Eastern and Maghreb cultures, rich in symbols, art and transmission.

٢. It all starts with the hands.

This is where my story began: in my final year of high school, I made my first pair of earrings from beads I found on a t-shirt, for our end-of-year party.

Since that day, I have never stopped creating my own jewelry.

Yedein is the natural outcome of this approach.

In Arabic, this word means “the two hands” – those which transmit, which shape, which connect.

They speak of know-how, heritage, but above all of human connection.

7. Our ambition

At Yedein, we aim to donate a portion of our profits to workshops and/or schools that work to preserve artisanal trades and pass them on to future generations.

This approach aims to encourage their development, while preserving exceptional know-how.

No. our inspirations

Inspired by visionary women such as Evelyne Porret, who passed on the art of pottery and ceramics in Fayoum, Suzanne Wassef, who showcases the art of tapestry at the Ramses Wissa Wassef Center, and Mona Zakarya, an architect committed to preserving Egypt's artisanal heritage, our approach is a continuation of their commitment.

Like them, we wish to extend this line of women who carry knowledge and transmission.

٥ . our creations

Through each piece, I try to offer precious creations of meaning and material, which embody my roots and bring good energies to those who wear them.

Silver, soapstone and glass are our preferred materials, chosen for their nobility, their history and their ability to stand the test of time.

Come with us to discover Egypt and its influences.
